How to clean a bidet 

Follow the instructions below to clean a bidet. 

1. Cleaning the bowl

1. Dampen a microfiber cloth with Harpic Bathroom Cleaner Citrus, wipe over the bidet with the cloth, and leave to air dry. 

2. Rinse the cleaning cloth immediately after use with clean and running water. 

3. If your bidet has a seat, clean beneath it. 

4. Lift the seat by pressing the button on the side near the electrical cord and pulling up with your hands. If there’s no button, lift the seat by pulling it up and forward. 

2. Cleaning the nozzle 

Many bidet nozzles have a self-cleaning feature, making their maintenance easier. For all the other bidets, follow the instructions below. 

1. Press the cleaning button for 3 seconds until the nozzle comes forward. 

2. Mix 1.5 capsful of Harpic Bathroom Cleaner Citrus in half a bucket of water(4 cups). 

3. Soak a toothbrush into a cleaning solution and clean the nozzle thoroughly.

4. If your unit has a second nozzle, press the button to extend and clean it. 

If your nozzle has low water pressure, chances are it’s clogged. In such situations, follow the instructions below. 

1. Extend the nozzle using the cleaning button and unplug the unit so it doesn’t retract. 

2. Remove the nozzle tip by gently wiggling or twisting the nozzle. 

3. Leave the nozzle in the cleaning solution for 2-4 hours. 

4. Gently scrub it with a toothbrush to remove the deposits. 

5. Reattach the nozzle tip and plug the unit back in.

3. Remove tough stains 

If there’s water inside the bowl, sop it up with an old towel. Then, follow the instructions below.

3. With a toilet brush, thoroughly clean the entire bowl and then flush.
